On May 9, 1950 with a $3,000 investment, 2,700 square feet of showroom and a dirt floor warehouse Belpre Furniture opened its doors with ideas that were ahead of its time. Most furniture outlets were in downtown locations and required the customer to pay for parking. Belpre Furniture was the first to be located in suburban Belpre, Ohio with free off-street parking, the first with evening hours, and financing. Belpre Furniture installed the ninth Broyhill Gallery in the nation which brought accessorized room settings to the forefront in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Delivery Policies

Belpre Furniture makes standard deliveries for a nominal $59.95 charge available on the day assigned by the store for your area without an appointment time. Please have your area cleared and ready for the new merchandise. Our delivery teams are not allowed to move any existing furniture or electronics in your home. On the day of delivery you may call the store from which you purchased your merchandise and you will be given a time frame for your delivery.

To insure the safety of our drivers, snow or any other pedestrian obstacle must be removed by you before our drivers can make your delivery. Belpre Furniture will determine if deliveries will be made during hazardous weather conditions.

Upon delivery of bedding purchases, we do offer to pick-up your used mattress and boxspring at no additional charge. We do reserve the right to refuse pick-up on any mattress or boxspring that our delivery teams deem in unacceptable conditions. Waterbeds, headboards, footboards and frames are excluded from this free service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon completion of your delivery, you will be asked to sign the delivery ticket. Any concerns with your delivery should be noted on the delivery ticket. Belpre Furniture cannot assume any liability for damages or claims that are not documented at the time of delivery.

Pick-Up Policies

When making arrangements to pick-up merchandise, please call at least 24 hours ahead to verify that your merchandise will be at the appropriate pick-up location. Pick-up times are Tues, Thurs, & Fri 10:00a-6:00p; Wed & Sat 10:00a-4:00p. Bring help to load, pads, blankets, and tie straps.

Merchandise picked up at Belpre Furniture will be opened, assembled, inspected and can not be put back into the original carton or packing. Returns and transportation for subsequent service of picked up merchandise will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

For liability purposes, Belpre Furniture associates will not tie-down your trunk or secure any merchandise to your vehicle.

Service Policies

At Belpre Furniture we are committed to insuring your satisfaction through our Service Department. We will provide repair service for manufacturer defects under the terms stated in the manufacturer's warranty.

Belpre Furniture reserves the right to:

  1. Inspect damaged merchandise
  2. Provide service in your home, our warehouse or at the factory.
  3. Furniture replacements require authorization by the manufacturer. Should a replacement be authorized and the original product is no longer available, you will be authorized to reselect any item up to the original purchase amount.

There are no refunds, exchanges or service calls provided on clearance merchandise.

Manufacturers of upholstery fabrics do not guarantee their products for shrinkage, color fastness, pilling or durability. Therefore, we are not able to guarantee fabrics. All of our bedding manufacturers warrant against structural defects. This warranty is between you and the manufacturer and all manufacturer decisions are final. No manufacturer warrants or guarantees comfort, nor can Belpre Furniture. Bedding cannot be exchanged or returned without authorization from the manufacturer. Acceptance of the delivery of any bedding finalizes the sale and no pick-ups, returns, or refunds can be made.

Please carefully inspect all accessories before you take them with you. We do not service any accessories after they are taken from the store.

Some manufacturers have extended warranties against defective parts. Manufacturers' warranties are subject to transportation and labor fees. If you relocate to an area outside of the normal service areas and are in need of repair on an item, please note that it becomes your responsibility to contact the manufacturer of the product directly, work through a local dealer to get the warranty work done or return the product to Belpre Furniture for repairs with the responsibilities of all shipping, handling, and freight charges.

Special Orders

This merchandise is being made especially for you. All special orders are final – No refunds, returns or cancellations will be accepted. A deposit of 20% is required on all special orders. Special orders of ottomans, pillows, fabric yardage, table pads, arm covers, slip covers and parts orders out of warranty, require payment in full in advance. Special orders take approximately four to eight weeks. Belpre Furniture is not responsible for manufacturer or shipping delays. Your patience is appreciated.


Acceptance of the delivery of any bedding finalizes the sale and no pick-ups, returns, or refunds can be made. We offer to pick-up used mattresses and box springs at no additional charge, but we reserve the right to refuse pick-up on any items that our delivery drivers deem to be in an unacceptable condition.
